Meet Miss Linda....

Move over Paula Deen.... Linda's in the kitchen and she's serving up the best sweets one slice at a time.....

Linda began her professional career in the technology field. Though geared toward academics, Linda was born with culinary arts in her blood. She fondly remembers her mother creating a variety of masterpieces in the family's kitchen since the age of 10. She would even compete in bake-off's with her mother to display her distinct baking skills.

At the end of a long workday, Linda would come home and unwind by cooking, and by baking special desserts for friends and family. Before long, her hobby became her passion..... Intrigued by the food industry, Linda wholeheartedly decided to pursue a career in the bakery business.


This is where the magic happens.....

In July 2008, she opened the doors to Delicious Beginnings where she sells cookies, cakes, brownies, pies, mini-cheesecakes and other delectable treats.

An avid bowler and golfer, when she's not striking or hitting the driving range you can find her in her kitchen delivering decadent desserts for all.

Here at Delicious Beginnings we bake everything from scratch and use only the highest quality, freshest ingredients available. Our menu features a variety of cupcakes, delectable cookies, specialty cakes and other creative confections.

Owned and operated by baker extraordinaire Miss Linda, Delicious Beginnings has been delivering decadent desserts for generations. From sweet cream butter to Nieslsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla and Scharffen Berger chocolate, Delicious Endings treat the taste buds to a taste and texture celebration for the senses.

My story does not start with famous culinary institutes or pastry chefs from big name restaurants. Instead, our story starts with mothers, and daughters. My mother baked cakes from scratch throughout my childhood.

Delicious Beginnings draws on the recipes and tastes of the homegrown, homemade variety, while using the highest quality ingredients adds a touch of flavor sophistication.

What does all of this add up to..........Delicious Beginnings

Each and every confection is made with the passion and dedication that my own mother instilled in me through the love of baking.

After all, life's too short, why not have dessert first.....
